2016 Year End and Historical Housing Statistics Now Available

CCIAOR and CCIMLS have released the 2016 Annual Report on Cape Cod housing statistics, and have also uploaded new historical data dating back to 2003, the first year for which computerized listing data is available in CCIMLS.

For the year ending 2016, pending sales were up 15.3%, closed sales were up 9.5% and new listings were down 6.6%. This continues the yearlong trend of shrinking inventory on Cape Cod, which remains at historic lows. Town-level data is included in this report.

The 2016 housing Annual Report can be found at http://marketstatsreports.showingtime.com/CCAR-MA_cjwwb/CCAR-MA_ANN-Essential_2016.pdf

The historical data can be found on our Market Data page.

Good Morning, Really like your report. I notice that homes under $400K are moving quickly and there is a shortage on the market. However, on the Lower Cape , waterfront homes valued at around $3.5 mil to $4.5 mil are selling very slowly. I do not know the average DOM. But I’ll bet it is close to 300 days. Do you have any opinion on this condition. In the past there has usually been a fast turnover. Could please reply to my e mail address as I am in North Carolina ans sometimes cannot reach yourservice which I like
