Real Estate offices that are current members with the Cape & Islands Multiple Listing Service have the ability to create administrative accounts for their office. Note if administrative staff need access to CCIMLS, they must have their own login credentials (credentials cannot be shared). Please review the options for administrative access below. We also recommend that you review the MAR legal summary on personal assistants for important information on what licensed and unlicensed assistants can do under Massachusetts law.

Agent Assistants

  • Do not have the ability to list and sell in the MLS.
  • Have the permission to edit and manage listings for one or multiple agents at the firm. Agent Assistants do not have office-wide access and cannot run office reports, they only have access to the listings for the individual agent(s) to whom they are assigned.
  • If licensed, must also become a REALTOR®.
  • Each office location gets 1 free Office Assistant OR Agent Assistant account. All additional accounts are $33 per quarter.

Note that along with your application, we will also need a letter from the Designated REALTOR® or Office Manager at your office confirming that you should have administrative access. This letter will need to be uploaded with the application.

Office Assistants

  • Do not have the ability to list and sell in the MLS.
  • Have permission to manage and edit listings for other agents at the office and also run office reports.
  • If a firm has multiple office locations in the MLS system, Office Administrators can be set up with administrative access to multiple office locations.
  • If licensed, must also become a REALTOR®.
  • Each office location gets 1 free Office Assistant OR Agent Assistant account. All additional accounts are $33 per quarter.

MLS Subscriber with Office Assistant Privileges

  • Have the ability to list and sell in the MLS.
  • Have permission to manage and edit listings for other agents at the office and run office reports.
  • If a firm has multiple office locations in the MLS system, can be set up with administrative access to multiple office locations.
  • Can list and sell in the MLS and pay the subscriber rate of $99 per quarter for members of CCIAOR, and $123 per quarter for non-CCIAOR members.

If you are already a subscriber in the MLS and would like Office Assistant privileges, we need need a letter or email from the Designated REALTOR® of your office confirming that you need office assistant access. If you need access to multiple office locations, the locations should be included in the letter. This can be sent to support@cciaor.com or faxed to 508-771-0067.
