About the Course:
The Cape Cod and Islands Association of REALTORS® is hosting a special virtual offering of the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) Designation Course with instructor Kimberly Allard on January 18th, 19th & 20th online via PEARL! Kimberly Allard is a local Real Estate Instructor with a long history in the industry, including serving as MAR President, Chair of the State’s Education Subcommittee and former Board Person for the Real Estate Brokers and Salesperson for the Division of Professional Licensure.
With the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) Designation, agents can hone their craft in representing the needs of homebuyers. NAR’s Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council (REBAC) empowers designees to maintain their superior skills and develop business opportunities by providing exclusive member benefits. ABR designees have proven that they have the skills and experience to go above and beyond for their clients.
Before applying to REBAC to become an Accredited Buyer Representative, you must:
Be a REALTOR® in good standing with NAR
Complete the ABR Designation Course
Complete one of the ABR® elective courses
Provide documentation of five completed transactions in which you acted solely as a buyer representative.
ABR is recognized as an official NAR Designation. ABR Designees receive the following:

Course Cost*:
$199 for CCIAOR members and $250 for non-members
Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be provided if you cancel by January 1st. Starting January 2nd, you will be refunded the registration cost minus a $50 cancellation fee. Starting on January 13th, no refunds will be provided if you cancel your registration.
*REBAC Dues - Cost of Maintaining ABR Designation:
First year of REBAC membership is free
Second year is $110, but prorated based on the month you joined REBAC
3rd year is $110 with a 5% discount if paid online before the end of the year.

All attendees looking to receive State CE Credits must arrive prior to the start of the class. Per the Board of Registration of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons “students must complete the total number of requisite hours. Breaks, tardiness or other interruptions are not to be included in the total number of hours.”
