Continuing Education

The Cape Cod & Islands Association provides its members with access to free high-quality continuing education allowing you to keep your license active and empowering you to grow your business and knowledge. Members have free access to complete their continuing education requirements through both live and online classes.

Live Continuing Education Classes

Due to COVID-19, we will not be offering any live in-person classes for the foreseeable future.

Massachusetts law requires 12 hours of continuing education every two years to renew your license. Members of CCIAOR have access to a comprehensive and diverse continuing education program including more than 200 continuing education hours offered yearly — all free to our members! Non-members can also sign up classes at a rate of $30 per 2 credit class.

Classes are held at our Conference Center in West Yarmouth as well as at locations on the Lower Cape, Upper Cape, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket.

See upcoming classes below or visit our Continuing Education Calendar for a full list of classes.

Online Continuing Education Classes

As a member of CCIAOR, you can also take CE classes online at no additional cost via the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® Learning Library. You will need to create an account using your NRDS number to have access to the online courses.

Code of Ethics Training Requirement

NAR has extended the Code of Ethics cycle from two (2) years to every three (3) years meaning all REALTORS® must complete the Code of Ethics between January 1, 2019, and December 31, 2021, and for successive three (3) year periods thereafter. All REALTORS® will need to take the Code of Ethics class during this time period to keep their membership active and in good standing.
