The Color of Law Book Discussion
Join MAR for 'The Color of Law Book Discussion'
Working in real estate can provide opportunities to make sure that everyone has fair and equal access to housing. Join your colleagues in examining the history of the real estate industry and the government’s role in racial discrimination. We invite the MAR real estate community to come together and confront history in an effort to inspire positive systemic change in the real estate field.
Please join Suffolk Law School’s Housing Discrimination Testing Program (HDTP) via Zoom for a discussion on The Color of Law: A Forgotten History of How Our Government Segregated Americaby Richard Rothstein. We will share a short overview and then will dive into an open discussion on issues related to housing discrimination and the fight for fair housing. We encourage ALL to attend, even if you are not able to read the entire book, as we hope the discussion will share useful information for all. As an alternative, you may also consider watching the 30-minute companion mini-documentary “Segregated By Design."
You will receive the link to join the Zoom Meeting at checkout and in your confirmation email.
