To become a Broker in the State of Massachusetts you must have worked for Real Estate Salesperson under a broker for at least 3 years. Work as a Real Estate Agent must be current or have been completed no more than 2 years prior. If a Salesperson meets these requirements, they can the 40 hour Broker Pre-Licensing course with a State Approved School and Instructor.
