The Code of Ethics is the foundation of your REALTOR® membership. CCIAOR offers the class regularly, both in person and online. Members can also take a pre-recorded online version through the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR). For those looking for a simpler, non-continuing education Code of Ethics option, you can also take the class online through the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).
NAR requires all REALTORS® to complete the Code of Ethics Training for Cycle 7 between January 1, 2022, and December 31, 2024, and for successive three (3) year periods thereafter, as part of the Code of Ethics Training Requirement. Meaning, the following Code of Ethics Training Cycle, Cycle 8, will run from January 1st, 2025, through December 31st, 2027, and all REALTORS® will need to complete the Code of Ethics course again within that time period.
