CEO Transition Update for CCIAOR

As was shared last November, Ryan Castle planned to conclude his time as CEO of the Cape Cod & Islands Association of REALTORS® (CCIAOR) by June 30, 2025. Today, we have an update: Ryan has officially set his final day with CCIAOR for Tuesday, April 15, 2025.

Ryan has accepted the position of Chief Executive Officer of the Charleston Trident Association of REALTORS® (CTAR) in South Carolina. This move brings him back to familiar ground—before joining CCIAOR 11 years ago, he served as Government Affairs Director at CTAR. Now, leading an association of over 6,000 members, Ryan has a new opportunity to continue growing in his career.

CCIAOR President Todd Machnik said, "We are incredibly grateful for Ryan’s leadership, vision, and dedication. His impact on CCIAOR—through innovative programming, advocacy, and positioning the organization as a key resource—will leave a lasting legacy."

Castle thanked the members, co-workers, and leadership for support over the last 11 years.

"I find myself reflecting on how much this community has meant to me. The members, colleagues, and leadership I’ve had the privilege to work alongside have shaped me in ways I could have never imagined. Together, we’ve tackled big challenges, built meaningful coalitions, and made a lasting impact—work that I am deeply proud of," Castle said.

Additionally, Machnik provided an update about CCIAOR's CEO Search: "In preparation for this transition, our CEO Search Committee has been conducting a nationwide search, assisted by a search consultant, to find Ryan’s successor. Yesterday, the committee reported to the Board of Directors that they’ve made excellent progress and hope to share good news soon. We will continue to keep our members updated on the leadership transition and look forward to sharing more in the coming weeks."
