Rob Nahigian is a Principal with Auburndale Realty Co. in Newton, Massachusetts and has 38 years in commercial/industrial real estate. He is an award winning real estate practitioner and international educator with his focus as commercial corporate broker and real estate advisor. He was honored with the 2019 and 2009 Counselors of Real Estate recipient of the “James Felt Creative Counseling Award” for the most outstanding achievement and ingenuity in a real estate counseling assignment in the U.S ; by Boston’s Commercial Brokers Association 3 times as the “Real Estate Advisory Assignment of the Year”; named “Industrial Deal of The Year” and “Distinguished Achievements in Commercial Leasing.” He was awarded 5 times by SIOR as “National Instructor of the Year”; CoreNet’s “Top Rated Faculty” and awarded 2011 and 2015 “Massachusetts Real Estate Educator of the Year.” He is an Adjunct Professor at Boston University for 25 years teaching Commercial Lease Document. He is a senior faculty member of MAR, SIOR, Visiting Assistant Professor at RealtorU and a past NAR Commercial instructor. He has spoken nationally to commercial boards for over 30 years. He has served as committee chair, Board of Director and member on over 60 committees for many real estate organizations. He serves on the MA RE Licensing Commission CE Subcommittee

He holds commercial real estate accreditations of FRICS, SIOR, CRE and MCR and honorary society LAI. He earned his BA from Lehigh University and a Masters in Urban Planning from Columbia University
