About the Course:

The Cape Cod and Islands Association of REALTORS® is hosting a special in-person offering of the GREEN Designation Course with instructor Craig Foley on October 3rd and 4th from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm In-Person at CCIAOR's Offices!

The GREEN Designation course looks at why consumer demand green homes is increasing and how both the homes and consumer expectations impact the market. It prepares real estate professionals to help homeowners improve the performance of their homes in a variety of ways, from low-cost fixes and DIY projects, to retrofitting and replacing systems, to big budget remodeling projects and new constructions. Ultimately, this course will show you how to apply green knowledge to enhance your business while also helping to create a more sustainable, healthier world.

Before becoming a member NAR's Green REsource Council, you must:

Be a REALTOR® in good standing with NAR
Complete the GREEN Designation Coursework

GREEN is recognized as an official NAR Designation: By earning NAR's Green Designation, you position yourself as a leader in green real estate that's fully equipped to help clients take advantage of the opportunities their next home can offer.

Cancelation/No-Show Policy:

A full refund will be provided if you cancel by September 27th. Starting on September 30th, a $50 cancelation fee will be applied. Starting October 2nd, no refunds will be provided if you cancel your registration.

Costs of acquiring and maintaining your GREEN Designation:

When you complete your coursework and pass any required exams, you become a member of NAR's Green REsource Council. You’ll gain access to ongoing education, resources, and professionally designed marketing tools that help you stay at the forefront of the green real estate market.

Your first year of membership is free, with your second year prorated from the month you are conferred with the designation. Starting on your third year, you'll need to renew your membership annually at a cost of $98.50 per year.

All attendees looking to receive State CE Credits must arrive prior to the start of the class. Per the Board of Registration of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons “students must complete the total number of requisite hours. Breaks, tardiness or other interruptions are not to be included in the total number of hours.”
