MyFloodStatus, powered by WTG, LLC, addresses the expanding need for accurate, certified flood determinations for real estate agents and their clients. Staffed with Certified Floodplain Managers and GIS specialist they deliver on this need.
MyFloodStatus flood determinations go beyond the industry standard one-page Flood Hazard Form and includes accurate, structure-based visual verification mapping detail based on the current effective FEMA map. If FEMA is proposing a map change, the MyFloodStatus report will also include the preliminary map giving a heads up to how the designation might change.
As a MLS member, each report is a discounted price of $25 per report versus the normal $30 report cost. In addition to the savings, each determination is backed by $2 million dollars of E&O insurance which helps remove any liability from the agent providing this report to their clients.
Each MyFloodStatus report also provides visual documentation which shows how the determination was made on the current “active” flood zone map along with a second preliminary map of the status for properties that will be affected by FEMA map changes (if applicable).
