CCIAOR Members Give Back at Dream Day on Cape Cod

CCIAOR members spent the day cleaning up and preparing the Dream Day on Cape Cod on June 7th as part of NAR's REALTORS® are Good Neighbors Volunteer Days. Seven members and staffers cleaned and swept all staff living areas, organized beds, and built new sturdy bed frames to replace the existing frames. They also added new mattresses and removed old ones no longer in use.

Dream Day on Cape Cod is a non-profit organization based in Brewster, dedicated to bringing respite into the lives of children with serious and/or life-threatening illnesses and their families for the past 28 years. All programs are at no cost to the family.

Donations that the camp can use immediately include any type of paint – opened, unopened, any color, 6-15 horsepower small outboard motors, landscaping equipment, cleaning supplies (particularly long handled swiffers), kitchen utensils, building supplies, smoke detectors, handicap ramps, and outdoor umbrellas, all of which can be dropped off at the CCIAOR office with advance notice.
