CCIAOR Members Volunteer at the Cape Cod Children's Museum

CCC Museum Volunteers Day2

CCIAOR members spent the day on June 8th and 9th refreshing exhibits at the Cape Cod Children's Museum in Mashpee as part of NAR's REALTORS® are Good Neighbors Volunteer Days.

The Cape Cod Children's Museum (CCCM) was in need of volunteers to convert their farm stand exhibit into an interactive, ocean-themed exhibit that was developed in partnership with the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute (WHOI). CCIAOR volunteers stepped up, picking up power sanders and paintbrushes to help bring the new exhibit to life.

“I remember having so much fun at our local Children’s Museum when I was growing up. Somebody provided this great experience for me and I wanted to do my small part in giving back so I signed up for this opportunity. It was great seeing how happy the kids are at the Cape Cod Children’s Museum!” – Gary Corvelo, Volunteer & CCIAOR Affiliate Norcom Mortgage

The Cape Cod Children’s Museum (CCCM) serves the children and families of Cape Cod year round and welcomes over 50,000 guests and friends per year. It is the largest and only museum on Cape Cod dedicated entirely to children. CCCM is dedicated to the experience of the child - and they are excited about the bright future ahead! The new exhibit is set to launch later this year.

Local businesses can support the Cape Cod community too with a ‘Buy One Give One’ (BOGO) business membership. Buy a business membership for your company, your employees or clients. Then for every business membership purchased, a deserving local family will receive a CCCM membership for free!
