CCIMLS Public Remarks Now Allow for 1200 Characters
Why this matters?
Many of you have said the current 800 character limit is too limiting to tell consumers all the great information about your listing. So, we are making a much requested change to allow up to 1200 characters in the Public Remarks. But please, don't go writing the next great novel just because you can!
Be cautious and use those characters wisely
While one of the most frequent requests we have gotten is to increase the character count, another is making a listing detail report fit on one page. Those two items go hand-in-hand. The more you write, the less likely it is to fit on one page, so keep that in mind as you write your remarks.
But, there is some work you may need to do
Listings that have Supplemental Remarks will want to add them to the Public Remarks once the character count increases. Any of those 'must give' details above 1200 characters still uses Supplemental Remarks moving forward.
