Good Neighbor Spotlight: Seaside Le Mans

The 21st Edition of Seaside Le Mans is Saturday, September 10th from Noon to 5:00pm at Mashpee Commons and is considered The Race for the Cape Cod community where families can watch European-style Formula One race karts driven by local sponsors zip around a quarter-mile track.

Non-profit organizations are chosen each year as recipients of funding from the event and this year include The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy, Calmer Choice, Cape Cod Children’s Museum, Cape Cod Healthcare and Cape & Islands Veterans Outreach Center. Each organization will receive $50,000+ and will need to match the funding. CCIAOR members are involved with many of these non-profits, and many volunteer on the day of the race.

CCIAOR member DeWitt Davenport, CEO of the Davenport Companies and founder of the race states,

“The legacy and tradition of the Seaside Le Mans from its inception has been the overwhelming amount of support given to the event through sponsors, volunteers and the community at large."
