Greg Kiely Named CCIAOR's 2019 REALTOR® of the Year

Greg Kiely has been named the Cape Cod & Islands Association of REALTORS® 2019 REALTOR® of the Year.
Greg, the 2019 President-Elect of CCIAOR, is intimately involved at the local, state, and national association level and has dedicated his career to the REALTOR® organization. In 2018, it is estimated, Greg spent more than 300 hours in service on boards, committees, and task forces for the local, state, and national level.
“Greg has been a dedicated and devoted volunteer who is helping drive our organization forward and extensively at the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® . In addition, he is active in his community and his business driving all of it forward to make Cape Cod and our real estate community a better place,” said CCIAOR President Joe Arnao.
Greg, a Centerville resident, is the Vice President of the Cape Cod brokerages for Sotheby’s International Realty, serving as the brokerage manager for both the Falmouth and Osterville offices. There, he manages more than 60 agents. His colleague at Sotheby’s said, Ellen Valentages said, “Greg leads by example and is always promoting a high level of professionalism and good ethics.”
In addition to serving as CCIAOR’s President-Elect, Greg serves as the Cape & Islands Regional Representative to the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® in both 2018 and 2019. Also, at CCIAOR he served as the Secretary | Treasurer in 2018 of the organization and in that role, the chair of the Finance Committee and on the Executive Committee, a committee he continues to serve on as president-elect.
On the national level, Greg serves on the National Association of REALTORS® Resort & Second Home Committee and is a Golden R - President’s Circle investor in the REALTORS® Action Committee, leading the charge to protect homeowners on Cape Cod and around the country at the legislative level.
The REALTOR® of the Year, given annually by CCIAOR, serves as its most prestigious award and fosters a spirit of competition and cooperation among REALTORS® to contribute fresh thinking and a productive effort to further the Association’s mission of embracing change and empowering expertise among its members. The award is given out yearly, by a panel of REALTOR® peers, for contributions to the industry over the last 18 months that combines efforts at the local, state, and national association and also business success and community involvement.
