MAR Charitable Grants - Now Accepting Applications

With a mission to support those in need across the Commonwealth through submissions from regional Associations, the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) Charitable Foundation has given grants to victims of natural disasters, Massachusetts-based non-profit organizations, homebuyer counseling groups, and shelter and emergency services for people transitioning into permanent housing.

Grant Submission Guidelines & Application
The requesting 501C3 organization should have an established relationship with a local REALTOR® and REALTORS® should be actively involved with the requesting organization.

The three-page grant application has been formatted so text can be entered directly on to it. Once the application is complete, please save and forward the document to Patricia Pry, CCIAOR Events & Partnerships Director at ppry@cciaor.com.

The Association will review the document to confirm that all necessary information has been provided and will forward the application directly to MAR for consideration.

Applications may be accompanied by additional literature or materials that demonstrate the impact the nominated charity has had within the community or local market area. However, applications that are supported by such documents will not be weighted more heavily than those that do not.

It is important to provide as much detail about the activities and services offered by the nominated non-profit group as possible, particularly how the charitable organization aligns with the MAR Charitable Foundation’s mission of providing assistance for hunger, disaster relief and housing related causes.

Grant allotments range from $500 to $2000 and charitable organizations that are awarded a grant will be notified in mid-September.

The deadline for submitting the charitable organization application to Patricia Pry at ppry@cciaor.com is July 30, 2021. If you have any questions, please call 508.957.4327.
