MAR Charitable Grants Now Available
March 1, 2022 Government & Community Affairs, Good Neighbor Spotlight
The MAR Charitable Foundation awards grants to 501c3 organizations that work with REALTOR® members to help those in need across Massachusetts.
In 2022, 11 MAR Charitable Foundation Grants were awarded to Cape & Islands non-profit organizations with the assistance of CCIAOR members.
With a mission to support those in need across the Commonwealth through submissions from regional Associations, the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) Charitable Foundation has given grants to victims of natural disasters, Massachusetts-based non-profit organizations, homebuyer counseling groups, and shelter and emergency services for people transitioning into permanent housing.
Grant Submission Guidelines & Application
The requesting 501C3 organization should have an established relationship with a local REALTOR® and REALTORS® should be actively involved with the requesting organization. You can request a grant application by contacting Events & Partnerships Director, Patricia Pry at email@example.com or 508.957.4327. All applications must be returned to the Association by March 25th, 2022. The Association needs to review the document to confirm that all necessary information has been provided, signs off on the application and forwards it directly to MAR for consideration.
Grant allotments range from $500 to $2000 and charitable organizations that are awarded a grant will be notified by May 1, 2022.
