Town of Barnstable Seeks Feedback on Short Term Rentals

The Town of Barnstable is inviting the public to share their opinions regarding short term rentals through an online survey. This information will be used as the town considers possible regulations around short term rentals.

The survey will be open through November 1st.

The survey should take less than 5 minutes. Responses to this survey are confidential and will be used for research purposes to assist in policy conversations about short-term rentals in the Town of Barnstable. The survey seeks input on people’s personal experiences with short-term rentals, thoughts about potential regulations, and opinions on the benefits and drawbacks to our community.

Town of Barnstable Short Term Rental Definitions:
A short-term rental is a home or a portion of a home (such as a room) that is:
• rented for stays that are less than 31 days
• rented for more than 14 total days a year
