Cape Cod Real Estate Specialist Designation Takes Off With its First 5 Recipients

The Cape Cod & Islands Association of REALTORS® has launched a new designation to distinguish its members that demonstrated and gained specific knowledge and expertise in the Cape Cod real estate market - the Cape Cod Real Estate Specialist.CCIAOR members will achieve this designation through a set curriculum of classes and experiences that provide deep insight into Cape Cod real estate and training on being a professional in the real estate industry.
The Cape Cod and Islands Association of REALTORS® today announced the first five recipients of the Cape Cod Real Estate Specialist (CCRES) Designation - Annie Blatz, Jeffrey Clonts, Doug Grattan, Martha Knapp, and Paul Rooney. These REALTORS® are the inaugural group to obtain the CCRES designation since it launched.
Launched in February 2020, the designation is designed to elevate a REALTOR®’s professionalism, deepen their local expertise on Cape Cod real estate, and enhance their value and duty to clients through specialized tracks for sales agents and brokers/managers. The designation’s courses, electives, and experiences are tailored to the unique needs of the Cape Cod real estate market, ensuring those who achieve the Cape Cod Real Estate Designation are better prepared and empowered to help their clients through any situation.
“This designation is important to distinguish those who are committed to advancing their craft and demonstrating real knowledge of the Cape Cod real estate market, which is a unique market from other areas of Massachusetts. We are thrilled to have five of our members complete the designation so soon after we launched it, especially during such a challenging time,” notes CCIAOR CEO Ryan Castle. ”We expect hundreds more to achieve this designation over time to really elevate themselves with extensive knowledge and experience in the Cape Cod market.”
In order to be eligible for the CCRES Designation, REALTORS® must have at least 3 years in good standing as a Cape Cod & Islands Association of REALTORS and Multiple Listing Service member, and must have a sustained record of local production. Once achieved, members must continue to meet educational and production standards to maintain the title of a Cape Cod Real Estate Specialist.
