As I near the end of my term as CCIAOR & CCIMLS President, I have the opportunity to reflect on the achievements we have made as an association this past year and, on a more personal level, the impact it has had on me.
According to preliminary data released last week by the Cape Cod & Islands Association of REALTORS® (CCIAOR), 477 homes sold in October, 378 single-family homes and 99 condominiums. Median sales price was $479,900 for single-family homes and $347,500 for condominiums.

The CCIAOR & CCIMLS Board of Directors approved the budget for 2019 at their board meeting last week. I wanted to take the opportunity to explain the process, the goals, and the major initiatives that were included in that budget, so that you gain a better understanding of how CCIAOR is implementing our strategic plan.
At the end of the last legislative session, Governor Baker signed into law what has commonly been referred to as the “Grand Bargain.” Included within the GrandBargain were significant reforms to Massachusetts’ law regarding non-compete agreements.
