Referrals to local service providers can be a sticky situation for many REALTORS®. The downside is these types of relationships can sometimes stray into a gray area or can create confusion about whether a referral from one of these sources constitutes a RESPA violation.

According to preliminary data released last week by the Cape Cod & Islands Association of REALTORS®, 411 homes sold in July, 330 single-family homes and 81 condominiums. Median sales price was $439,700 for single-family homes and $282,000 for condominiums.
