Ryan Castle assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer of the Cape Cod & Islands Association of REALTORS® (CCIAOR) and MLS (CCIMLS) in September 2014. He was named the CEO of the Martha's Vineyard MLS (MVMLS upon its incorporation in 2018.

As the CEO, Ryan directs and oversees the operations and strategy of CCIAOR, CCIMLS, and MVMLS. He led the companies through a complete reorganization to re-engineer the culture of the Association and the MLS through investing in customer service, new real estate technologies, and revamping the community’s and member’s image of the Association to focus on delivering value, growing influence in the region, and running efficient, effective companies.

Prior to being named CEO at CCIAOR and CCIMLS, Ryan served as the Government Affairs Director for the Charleston Trident Association of REALTORS® for 6 years. There, he ran the political, advocacy and lobbying efforts of the member trade association serving as the association’s lobbyist and political adviser.

Prior to his career in the REALTOR® Association management, Ryan served as a Communication Adviser to a Governor of South Carolina and an award-winning newspaper editor and reporter at the twice weekly newspaper, the Summerville Journal Scene, in his South Carolina home town.

Ryan holds the designation of REALTOR® Certified Executive (RCE), is a graduate of the Institute of Organizational Management by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and is certified REALTOR® Professional Standards Administrator.

He is a graduate of Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Va with a degree in Political Science.
