Let’s Honor the Best and Brightest in Our Industry & Community
Each year, CCIAOR & CCIMLS recognizes members who have made outstanding contributions to the REALTOR® association, and to their communities, with the following awards – The REALTOR® of the Year Award, the Charles F. Lockhart Distinguished Service Award and the Good Neighbor Award.
Recipients join a distinguished line of local REALTORS® who have earned the respect of their peers, neighbors and countless others.
The awards nomination deadline is April, 18, 2022.

REALTOR® of the Year
This award recognizes a CCIAOR member whose work expands the interest of their fellow REALTORS®, their profession, and the community at large. Nominees must be a CCIAOR member in good standing and have no Code of Ethics violations in the nomination period. Nominees will be judged based on the member’s contributions in the preceding 18 months in the following categories:
- Association involvement and impact (local, state, and national)
- Civic activity and impact
- Business accomplishments and recognition
- REALTOR® spirit and cultivation of pride in the REALTOR® organization and industry

Charles F. Lockhart Distinguished Service Award
This lifetime achievement award is presented in recognition of long-term service and dedication to The Cape Cod & Islands Association of REALTORS® and for devotion to community service and demonstration of fairness, integrity, and cooperation with fellow REALTORS®. Nominees are judged on the impact of their personal contribution and their influence as a role model for other REALTORS®. The recipient must be a CCIAOR member in good standing.

Good Neighbor Award
This award recognizes a CCIAOR member who has made an extraordinary commitment to improving the quality of life in their community through volunteer work, educational programs, youth/elder activities, and any other civic or charitable work. The Good Neighbor Award specifically recognizes members who have made significant contributions to the Cape & Islands communities through volunteer work. CCIAOR will donate $500 to the award recipient’s charity of choice and the recipient will also be nominated for MAR’s Good Neighbor Award.
