Leadership Academy

The CCIAOR Leadership Academy is an annual program for a select group of REALTORS® focused on improving leadership skills and community knowledge with the goal of empowering you to be a better leader and volunteer.

Cape Cod Real Estate Specialist Designation

The Cape Cod Real Estate Specialist Designation (CCRES) was created to help CCIAOR members distinguish themselves as leading local professionals by empowering them with the knowledge, skills, and insight you need to best serve the Cape Cod market.

Real Estate Conference

Each spring, CCIAOR holds the Cape Cod Real Estate Conference - a full day of premier programming featuring national speakers and industry experts to keep our members in the know and help them grow and achieve their goals as professionals.

REALTOR® Socials

REALTOR® Socials are a great way to connect and network with your fellow REALTORS® and industry peers while enjoying hours d’oeuvres and cocktails at unique locations across the Cape. Sponsored by CCIAOR Affiliate Members, REALTOR® Socials are held most months of the year - check below for upcoming dates and registration details.

Affiliates & Sponsors

Affiliate members are an essential part of the real estate community and the Cape Cod & Islands Association of REALTORS®. They are businesses and individuals that offer services and products of value to homeowners and the more than 2,500 REALTORS® that call Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, and Nantucket home.

CCIAOR also relies on many of these affiliates, who are experts in their field, to provide our members with professional information on trends, research, and industry updates.

Visit the Cape Cod & Islands Home Services Directory to learn about CCIAOR's affiliate members.

Every year, CCIAOR celebrates its members with prestigious awards. These awards recognize achievement in service to the industry, the Association, the MLS and the community. Individuals are nominated by their fellow REALTORS® and winners are determined by the CCIAOR Awards Committee.

REALTOR® of the Year

This award recognizes individuals whose work expands the interest of their fellow Realtors, their profession, and the community at large and is based on the member’s contributions in the previous 18 months.

MAR Charitable Foundation Grants

The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) Charitable Foundation awards grants to 501c3 organizations that REALTOR® members work with to help those in need throughout Massachusetts. The Charitable Foundation’s Board of Trustees created this program in 2000 to encourage REALTOR® support for local non-profit groups and their initiatives to provide affordable housing, shelter, and other emergency care services within the Commonwealth. Application preference is for Massachusetts organizations helping Massachusetts residents. It is preferred that requesting organization has an established relationship with a local REALTOR® board and that REALTORS® are actively involved with requesting organization. Housing, homelessness, hunger and disaster relief have been the focus of the Foundation. In past years, grant awards have ranged from $500 to $1,500.

If you are involved with an organization that may be a good fit for a grant, please contact Member Services Coordinator Julie Robillard for application details.

The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) offers Placemaking Micro-Grants that fund the creation of new or improvement of existing outdoor public spaces and destinations in a community. Placemaking is a way to make your community a better place to live and work by transforming public spaces into vibrant community places. Placemaking projects could include public parks, trails and pedestrian paths, community gardens, playgrounds, fitness areas and dog parks - and more! Grant awards range from $500 up to $2,500 depending on the scope of the project. Placemaking can be undertaken by anyone in a community but what is often needed is someone to take the lead or initiative. Who better to do this than REALTORS® who are already engaged in their communities and know the neighborhoods and the properties, and are likely to know where to focus efforts to improve a place?

If you have an idea for a placemaking project, please contact CCIAOR Events & Programs Director Patricia Pry for grant application details.
