2023 Awards Nominations Now Open

Who is Making a Big Impact? Let Us Know by Nominating Them for a CCIAOR Award!

CCIAOR wants to know: Who are the REALTORS® making a BIG impact in our industry, association and communities?

If you know of someone who immediately comes to mind, nominate them for a 2023 CCIAOR Award!

Our association awards spotlight those members who make a difference in business and in the community and give them the recognition that they deserve for their efforts. REALTORS® are Good Neighbors, great colleagues and difference-makers, and these awards give much-deserved recognition to those who go above and beyond every day.

Online nominations for CCIAOR's 2023 awards are now open, and will be open through April 18th, 2023. We are seeking nominees for three awards - the REALTOR® of the Year, the Charles F. Lockhart Distinguished Service Award and the Good Neighbor Award.

Recipients of these awards will join a long line of local REALTORS® who have earned the respect of their peers, neighbors and countless others. The award recipients will be recognized at CCIAOR’s Summer Soiree at the Pelham House in Dennisport on June 15th.

REALTOR® of the Year

This award recognizes a CCIAOR member whose work expands the interest of their fellow REALTORS®, their profession, and the community at large. Nominees must be a CCIAOR member in good standing and have no Code of Ethics violations in the nomination period. Nominees will be judged based on the member’s contributions in the preceding 18 months in the following categories:

• Association involvement and impact (local, state, and national)
• Civic activity and impact
• Business accomplishments and recognition
• REALTOR® spirit and cultivation of pride in the REALTOR® organization and industry

Charles F. Lockhart Distinguished Service Award

This lifetime achievement award is presented in recognition of long-term service and dedication to The Cape Cod & Islands Association of REALTORS® and for devotion to community service and demonstration of fairness, integrity, and cooperation with fellow REALTORS®. Nominees are judged on the impact of their personal contribution and their influence as a role model for other REALTORS®. The recipient must be a CCIAOR member in good standing.

Good Neighbor Award

This award recognizes a CCIAOR member who has made an extraordinary commitment to improving the quality of life in their community through volunteer work, educational programs, youth/elder activities, and any other civic or charitable work. The Good Neighbor Award specifically recognizes members who have made significant contributions to the Cape & Islands communities through volunteer work. CCIAOR will donate $500 to the award recipient’s charity of choice and the recipient will also be nominated for MAR’s Good Neighbor Award.
