Highlight Who We 'R': Nominations for CCIAOR Awards Are Now Open!

This is your chance to rise up through the adversity surrounding the real estate world and highlight who REALTORS® 'R' - professionals who go above and beyond for their clients, the community, and the association. REALTORS® are good neighbors, great colleagues, and tireless advocates for their clients and now is the time to recognize those who represent the finest of our profession and organization.

CCIAOR is seeking nominations for the REALTOR® of the Year award, The Charles F. Lockhart Distinguished Service Award, and our local Good Neighbor award. If you know of a REALTOR® who deserves to be highlighted for their contributions and good deeds, please submit a nomination form!

The forms have been streamlined for 2024! If you have someone in mind, please complete a nomination form (to the best of your knowledge) for consideration. Our award winners will receive recognition at our annual Summer Soiree and Awards Night at the Pelham House in Dennis Port on Thursday, June 20th. Be sure to keep an eye out for the registration to attend!

REALTOR® of the Year

This award recognizes a CCIAOR member whose work expands the interest of their fellow REALTORS®, their profession, and the community at large. Nominees must be a CCIAOR member in good standing and have no Code of Ethics violations in the nomination period. Nominees will be judged based on the member’s contributions in the preceding 18 months in the following categories:

• Association involvement and impact (local, state, and national)
• Civic activity and impact
• Business accomplishments and recognition
• REALTOR® spirit and cultivation of pride in the REALTOR® organization and industry

Charles F. Lockhart Distinguished Service Award

This lifetime achievement award is presented in recognition of long-term service and dedication to The Cape Cod & Islands Association of REALTORS® and for devotion to community service and demonstration of fairness, integrity, and cooperation with fellow REALTORS®. Nominees are judged on the impact of their personal contribution and their influence as a role model for other REALTORS®. The recipient must be a CCIAOR member in good standing.

Good Neighbor Award

This award recognizes a CCIAOR member who has made an extraordinary commitment to improving the quality of life in their community through volunteer work, educational programs, youth/elder activities, and any other civic or charitable work. The Good Neighbor Award specifically recognizes members who have made significant contributions to the Cape & Islands communities through volunteer work. CCIAOR will donate $500 to the award recipient’s charity of choice and the recipient will also be nominated for MAR’s Good Neighbor Award.
